Why Mauve?
Mauve design’s approach is inspired by the story of one man who invented a colour that changed the world. William Perkin’s discovery unlocked the world of chemistry and lead to ground-breaking developments in science, fashion, photography, medicine, perfume and more.
Before his discovery access to coloured dyes was painstaking and expensive but his new manufactured dye Mauveine opened a door and brought colour to the world in a way that hadn’t been possible before.

The colour of innovative design

After reading Simon Garfield’s book about Perkin, Rob Langston was inspired to build a design philosophy for Mauve Design that could unlock the potential of his clients. By combining his creativity with a desire to understand their needs and goals his aim is to open doors to new business and growth for those clients.
